Quetta International Airport

The airport caters both International & Domestic flights. It is situated 12 km North West of the city. Quetta is the provincial capital and the largest city of Baluchistan province. It is also known as the Fruit Garden of Pakistan. The immediate area has long been one of pastures and mountains with varied plants and animals relative to the dry plains to the west. The famous places include Kandahari Bazaar, Liaqat Bazaar, Suraj Gang Bazaar, Hazarganji Chiltan National Park, Hana Lake and the museum. Quetta has a high semi-arid climate with significant variation between summer and winter temperatures. Local rickshaws and taxi cabs connect the airport to the city. A few moderate to cheap hotels are available. The Airport operates on a flight schedule basis.
