    PCAA suffered Rs8.5 billion loss due to air space closure: Minister

    Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said that Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has suffered a loss of Rs 8.5 billion, owing to air space restrictions since February 2019 in the wake of aftermaths of Indian transgress; but this closure hit Indian Aviation drastically hard as compare to Pakistan; he apprised the loss margin of India is almost double. “But at this juncture of time, détente and harmony is required from both sides”, he remarked.

    Secretary Aviation presides over APM’s Conference

    ISLAMABAD: Secretary Aviation / DGCAA Shahrukh Nusrat chaired a Conference of the Airport Managers/COOs of major PCAA airports at Islamabad International Airport on Friday. This forum was revived after a gap of more than two years with the primary purpose to bring all APMs on the same page with regard to day to day issues being faced at airports and to align their resolve for the betterment of aviation sector in Pakistan in line with the vision of Prime Minister as elaborated in NAP 2019. The conference was attended by the Airport Managers of Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad and Multan airports.

    British Airways resumed operations in Pakistan
