CAA Schools & College

Soon after its inception the Civil Aviation Authority embarked upon a very ambitious plan for the welfare of its employees. Among other welfare activities children’s education, being the most important, received maximum attention. As such besides renovating the existing schools, CAA also established new schools. At present a total number of six schools are working successfully under the management of Human Resources Directorate of CAA. Four out of these schools, are at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi, one is at Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI), Hyderabad and one in Walton Aerodrome Lahore. All these schools are being run on no profit no loss basis. Health Care Unit has also established in all schools for routine checkups and emergencies. These school’s focused on IT related activities.

In order to develop a healthy competition among the students, CAA awarded Cash & Scholarship Certificates to its outstanding students of any CAA School & children of any employee, who secure 80% marks in Matric (SSC Part-II) & Intermediate (HSC Part-I) examination. Here is brief introduction on all said six CAA Schools & College:

CAA Model School & College No.1 JIAP Karachi (For boys)

This school was established in 1963 during the period of defunct Department of Civil Aviation. This is a Secondary school for boys only. The school was shifted to its new building at Karachi Airport in 1993. School’s academic record has shown constant improvement. College was established with this school in year 2007 only for boys.

CAA Model School No.2 JIAP Karachi (Co-education)

This school was established in November, 1984. This is a co-education school from prep to class-X. At the time of establishment, this school was from K.G. to Class-V, further classes were added gradually. School’s performance is equally good in curricular and extra activities.

CAA Model School No.3, JIAP Karachi (For girls)

This school was established in 1963 by the defunct Department with donation of Valika’s family and they requested that in lieu of their donation they wanted to keep name of their mother Kulsoom Bai Valika as part of the school’s name. At present, this school is only for girls.

CAA Model School-3 has recently organized its 50th Golden Jubilee Ceremony in which they invited alumni of school, such as renowned cricketers & legends of Pakistan Cricket Team Mohsin Hassan Khan & Saeed Anwer were also invited on this memorable occasion.

CAA Model School No.4, JIAP Karachi (Co-education)

This school was also established in 1985 by Civil Aviation Authority. It is a co-education school from prep to class-V.

CAA Public High School Walton Aerodrome Lahore (Co-education)

It was established on 7th April, 1983. This is Co-education school from nursery to class-VII.

CAA Model High School CATI, Hyderabad (Co-education)

CAA Model School, CATI, Hyderabad was established on 29th April, 1986. This school was gradually upgraded year after year and now it is High School.
